    The American Fidelity Foundation is the charitable arm of the American Fidelity organization. It serves as a tool for helping the communities in which their Colleagues live. The Foundation provides grants focused in four primary areas:

    • Education: support initiatives from early childhood programs to university instruction.
    • Health and Welfare: Most support in this area goes to the United Way.
    • Arts and Culture: contribute to Allied Arts and individual organizations.
    • Civic and Economic Development: Community improvement projects improve the quality of life for their Customers and Colleagues.

    Additional Information

    The American Fidelity Foundation does not fund: 

    • Organizations that are not tax exempt under paragraph 501(c)3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code. 
    • Individuals, for any purpose.
    • Requests to support travel expenses.
    • Organizations that in turn would provide grants to charities they choose (except for United Way or Allied Arts of Central Oklahoma).
    • Capital campaigns.
    • Endowment campaigns, except to fund scholarships or for other specific education projects.
    • Private clubs.
    • Religious, fraternal or sectarian organizations.
    • Organizations that seek to influence or initiate legislation.
    • Political candidates, parties or campaigns.

    Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the state of Oklahoma.

    Deadline Details

    The foundation does NOT accept unsolicited applications for grants. Please submit a letter of interest including a brief description of your project. You will receive a confirmation of the receipt of your letter and a request for additional information if the Foundation is able to consider your request. 

    Award Details

    Awards generally range between $500 and $5,000.
